Food has taken over your life. And just when you think you’re finally “getting the hang of it,” an influencer publishes a new post that has you rethinking everything you know about nutrition. It’s exhausting being this obsessed with food, but you just want to be healthy and will do what it takes to achieve that.
This is a dedicated time to explore the different facets of health. Whether you're recovering from an eating disorder or just wanting a better relationship with food, you're in the right place.
Our time is spent discovering why choosing certain foods feels harder than others and why eating feels so overwhelming.
Nutrition and the pursuit of health don't need to be this difficult. Let's work to increase confidence in your eating and decrease obsession about your health.
Pursuing perfect nutrition at all costs may be doing the opposite of what you intend.
Side note: there is no such thing as perfect nutrition!
All aspects of your health are connected, and we need to consider the trade-offs in your choices. How is the pursuit of perfect eating decisions impacting your mental, emotional, relational, and physical health?
My goal is to support you in making balanced choices that are aligned with your core values rather than rigid food choices that negatively impact not only your physical health but also the rest of your life. You can pursue health and wellness without obsessing over your meals and snacks.
Through exploring the emotional underpinnings beneath disordered eating, our work will uncover the rigid thought patterns, fears, and beliefs about food, exercise, and body image that are driving your overwhelm and obsession.
It's important to make balanced, values-driven decisions rather than chase the illusion of "perfect nutrition" at the expense of your mental, emotional, relational, and (ironically) even physical health.
In our sessions, we will foster curiosity and self-compassion while addressing practical aspects of eating like meal planning, nutrition science, and food variety.
During your initial session, we will explore your overall health as well as your past and current relationship with food, exercise, and body image. We will start to think through individualized approaches to facilitating greater freedom and well-being.
Cost of 60-Minute Initial Session: $155
In each follow-up session, we will work through both the practical aspects of nutrition and also the thoughts and feelings driving how you are currently engaging with food (and exercise, if applicable). As we journey together, I adapt my approaches, using my creativity, clinical experience, and intuition to best support you.
Cost of 45-Minute Follow-Up Session: $110
Cost of 60-Minute Follow-Up Session: $140
Follow-up sessions are scheduled on a weekly, twice weekly, or every other week frequency depending on client needs and preferences.
Using functional lab testing and protocols, we will work to heal the gut and hormonal issues that result from (and often contribute to!) disordered eating. I'm working to gain skills and expertise in this area, and plan to offer this in the future. This is what I consider "Recovery Phase Two" (done after we've healed your relationship with food).
My approach is all about creating an environment where you feel seen and supported, and where we can get curious together about what’s really going on behind the scenes. I'm not here to hand you a cookie-cutter plan or a quick fix - this is about digging deeper, exploring what matters to you, and helping you feel more free, more balanced, and more like yourself again.
One of my favorite parts of being a dietitian is getting to practice what I preach by moving my body in ways that feel best (hiking and yoga, please!). I also love to blog about my adventures along the way as I pursue a well-rounded approach to health.
I completed my dietetic internship, master's degree, and undergrad degree all at the University of Michigan, and currently live in the Ann Arbor area. Go Blue!
In high school and early college, I went through my own recovery from an eating disorder and exercise addiction. It wasn’t easy (let’s be real, it was messy at times), but it completely changed my life. That experience shapes everything about how I work with clients today.
I know firsthand how hard this process can be, but also how freeing and life-giving it is to come out on the other side. It’s why I’m so passionate about this work—because I know what’s possible, and I want to support you in getting there, too.
Schedule your free 15-minute consultation phone call where we can chat a bit about what's been going on, answer any questions, and decide if working together will be a good fit. We can go ahead and schedule your initial session during this call as well.

To provide the most customized experience for clients that I can, I choose to be out-of-network with insurance companies. That being said, a number of my clients are able to receive partial or full reimbursement for sessions depending on their plans. To pursue this option, I can create a monthly superbill (itemized receipt) for your sessions. The responsibility and logistics related to contacting one's insurance company lie with the client.

I see clients virtually (hello from Ann Arbor, Michigan!).
There are a number of benefits to virtual counseling. You get to be in the comfort of your own home (or a private space at your workplace or school). With no need to travel for sessions, making time for appointments becomes that much easier. Additionally, I utilize a variety of digital client resources and tools in our sessions, so being able to screen share is another plus of virtual counseling.

I work with clients ages 18 and older.
